Mekhatronika-it area of a science and the technics, devoted to creation and operation of cars

and systems with computer traffic control which is based on knowledge in area of mechanics, electronics and the microprocessor technics, computer science and computer traffic control of cars and units.

The term consists of two parts — "mekha", from a word of the mechanic, and «tronic», from a word electronics. In the USSR before term occurrence «mehatronic» devices with the name «mehatronics» were applied. The term «mehatronic» is entered by Japanese Tetsuro Moria (Tetsuro Moria), the senior engineer of company Yaskawa Electric, in 1969.

The engineer-mekhatronik

Is engaged in research, designing and operation of the automatic and automated cars and systems, robotics systems which are used at the enterprises extracting, transporting both processing oil and gas, the enterprises of space technics, exact mechanical engineering. Automatic means and control systems are used in planes, cars, household appliances etc.

Necessary knowledge

For the engineer-mehatronik knowledge from area is important:

Mechanics,
Electricity,
Automatics,
Computer science.

The engineer-mekhatronik should know elements of system and their designation, be able to make and test mehatronic systems, to know the device of working both measuring tools and principles of their work and to be able to use and serve them. Work demands ability to read engineering specifications, knowledge of the applied software, and also abilities to make the management program.

The engineer-mehatronik is engaged:

Research, designing and operation of automatic cars and systems;
Robotics systems which are used at the enterprises extracting, transporting both processing oil and gas, the enterprises of space technics, exact mechanical engineering.
