The trade of the engineer-ecologist (Environmental Engineers) in the west has developed from the engineer on sanitary (Sanitary Engineers) which was one of branches of civil engineers (Civil Engineers). For today, at engineering faculty of many universities of Europe and the USA it is possible to find these two trades united in one branch Civil and Environmental Engineering.

However the trade of the engineer-ecologist develops originally and in many areas costs more close to biotechnology and chemical engineering (Biotechnoly and Chemical Engineering), than to building engineering.

It is possible to divide accurately enough interests of engineers-ecologists into four subgroups on interests:

  • The earth
  • Air
  • Management.

At present in all areas there are many interesting researches and workings out. Professional engineers and research assistants specialize on microbiological, chemical and physical processes in environment. Management too develops in many areas, but the basic directions this ecological legislation and control improvement.

He participates in carrying out of ecological examinations, documentation registration, designing and plans.
